The 2024-2025 MAT Application is Now Open!

Are you, or someone you know, interested in becoming a teacher?

The Department of Educational Studies is pleased to announce the opening of the 2024-2025 MAT Application!

• The MAT is a program where students will receive their Master of Arts in Teaching and their teaching certification in just ten short months!
• Candidates will participate in an internship with a mentor teacher, complete a Master’s Research Project and their edTPA.
• We offer certification in Elementary, Secondary/K-12, and Special Education. 
• We offer several different pathways including a 3+1 program, where students can graduate with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the same time as a traditional Bachelor’s program, or Dual Enrollment, where students complete their Master’s during their first year of teaching.
• 97% of our MAT candidates are hired immediately following graduation.
